Hennessy Hammock vs Falling branches, Snow and Freezing rain

Nothing beats a good, heart-pounding charge up a snowy mountain with a ridiculous amount of gear strapped to your back. Who says an overnighter can’t be a challenge? With that philosophy in mind, I decided to explore the surrounding mountains near my off-grid property. To spice things up, I grabbed my Hennessy hammock and threw in some extra gear for “challenge weight”… why make life easy?

The night wasn’t without its drama. I nearly became a human kebab thanks to a falling branch, and sleep was more of a suggestion than a reality. But despite the chaos, it was an incredible little adventure. There’s something about pushing your limits, embracing the cold, and waking up to a world of untouched snow that makes it all worth it.
