Turn a cargo trailer into a comfortable home on a budget

For sometime I have pondered the idea of a mobile home. As far as I am concerned there are four options available for this kind of living arrangement. After considering my options, I found myself drawn to a simple yet effective solution: converting a 6x12ft cargo trailer. Here’s why this choice makes sense for me:

  • Cargo Van: Ideal for versatility and storage, but often comes with its own set of challenges.
  • Motorhome: Perfect for those who enjoy luxury and comfort on the go.
  • Travel Trailer: Great for outdoor adventures and towing convenience.

While all options have their merits, I chose the cargo trailer for its budget-friendliness and maintenance-free lifestyle. Plus, it gives you the freedom to leave “home” whenever you want, a feature that’s hard to beat if you are tethered to a cargo van or motorhome.
