Solo hammock camping and bears

In this video Ranger and I spend a night backcountry hammock camping in the trusty 10 year old Hennessy hammock. It took a full days hike to reach our overnight hang spot, a tough grind of both dirt roadways and forest climbs. I build a fire using dead lichen and a ferro rod. The following day whilst heading back down the mountain we have an interesting encounter with a mama bear and her cubs.
